GETTING HERE

We are easily accessible along the National Highway in Sitio Ban Ban, Barangay Paciencia, Tobias Fornier, Antique. Two scenic driving routes are detailed below. Public transportation can drop you off directly in front of Alpas. We have included instructions below for your convenience. Our small town quiets down shortly after sundown, but we are happy to entertain dinner and overnight guests at our guesthouse for a full Alpas experience. To ensure availability at our guesthouse, please book well in advance.

airports

  • Newly opened San Jose, Antique airport is just 34 km, or 50 mins north of Alpas. Flights are only available via Clark Airport through Philippine Airlines thrice weekly on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Latest flight schedules for Philippine Airlines can be found here

  • Iloilo International Airport is 109 km, or 2.5 hrs away from Alpas. More international and domestic flights are available throughout the week via this airport versus San Jose Airport. If commuting from Iloilo Airport to Alpas, taxis to Molo Terminal charge 500php. See below for commuting directions from Molo Terminal (Iloilo City).

  • We can arrange private van service by request, from either San Jose (~1500php) or Iloilo airport (~2500php).

FROM ILOILO CITY:

90km, approx 2.5 to 3 hrs

  • Driving: You may take the Mountain or Coastal route (click links to view in Google Maps). The mountain route is slightly faster, but it is safer to take the coastal route during heavy rain.

  • Public: Ceres Bus runs from Molo Terminal every 30 to 60 minutes to Dao* (now Tobias Fornier) from 6am to 6pm. One Way trip ~125php. Tell the conductor you are going to Alpas in Barangay Paciencia, Tobias Fornier. We are located 0.7 km (0.5 mile) after you pass Puntahagdan Beach Resort. *We highly suggest taking the DAO bus instead of the San Jose bus to avoid a transfer in San Jose.

FROM SAN JOSE:

32km, approx 30 to 45 mins

  • Driving: Click here for driving directions in Google Maps.

  • Bus: From Ceres Bus Terminal, buses to Dao run every 15 to 30 minutes from 7am to 6pm. Confirm the bus passes through Barangay Paciencia. One Way fare costs 30php for non-air conditioned and 40php for air conditioned. Tell the conductor our address, and the bus will stop directly in front of Alpas. We are located across the street from Hacienda Feliza.

  • Jeepney: Outside Robinson’s Mall at the Jeepney Terminal, take the Casay/Anini-Y* Jeepney that runs every 15 to 30 minutes from 7am to 6pm and drops you off right in front of Alpas. One Way fare costs 40php. Inform the conductor you are going to Alpas in Sitio Ban Ban, Barangay Paciencia. We highly suggest taking the Casay/Anini-Y Jeepney instead of the Dao Jeepney, for door-to-door drop off. A tricyclc transfer is needed at Dao Plaza if you take the Dao Jeepney.
